Welcome to AskBeforeYouEat, operated by TruePrimAI, Inc. ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using askbeforeyoueat.com (the "Service"), you agree to these terms.

The service

AskBeforeYouEat is a nutrition and wellness companion: you log food, activity, weight, and (optionally) wellbeing practices, and the Service provides estimates, trends, and coaching-style suggestions generated in part by artificial intelligence.

Not medical advice

The Service provides general nutrition information and estimates only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for the judgment of a physician or registered dietitian. Calorie and macro figures are estimates and may be inaccurate. Always consult a qualified professional before changing your diet or exercise, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services.

Your account

You must be at least 18 to use the Service. You are responsible for your login credentials and for the accuracy of what you log. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service.

Early access

The Service is offered free during early access and may change, gain paid tiers, or be interrupted at any time. We may modify or discontinue features without notice.

Messages

If you opt in to text reminders, message and data rates may apply and you can stop at any time by replying STOP or removing your number in settings.

Content and license

You keep ownership of what you log. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service (storing, processing, and displaying your entries back to you and generating your numbers).

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TruePrimAI, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update is acceptance. We will note the effective date above.
